Is the home completely private?

Yes. Magnolia House is a fully private residence — the home, pool, spa, and lanai are yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Why should I book directly through you instead of Airbnb or Vrbo?

Airbnb and Vrbo add 10-18% in guest service fees.  I also apply a surcharge to those rates to offset my costs of being on their platform.  When you book directly through Magnolia House web site or by contacting me directly, I only charge a 7.5% fee, and my rates aren't marked up.  So you get the best rates every time plus occasional special offers.

Are there any additional fees beyond the nightly rate?

All fees are clearly shown in the quote before you book, so you can reserve with complete confidence.

Is the pool heated year-round, and is there an extra charge?

The pool is heated Oct-Apr and Mother Nature heats it the remaining months. I am happy to adjust the temperature if you need.  The spa is heated year-round. Both are included with your stay at no additional cost.

What is your cancellation policy?

During peak season (Jan-Mar) the cancellation policy is cancel 60 days prior to check-in for a full refund; inside 60 days no refund are given.  The cancellation policy for the reminder of the year is: cancel 21 days prior to check-in for a full refund; inside 21 days no refunds are given.

What happens if something isn’t right during our stay?

I am an attentive host and just a phone call or message away. If anything comes up, I respond promptly and make it right myself or through my handyman.
